Then again, you can’t compare yourself with them. Anyway, cats are this lazy because of their sleeping habits, like 13-16 hours a day. It is said that they conserve energy, so they get less hungry, and when needed to hunt, they can use that stored energy to jump and run. We will be talking about some of the laziest cat breeds there are.
Ragdoll
Ragdolls are with those gleaming blue eyes and furry bodies; who wouldn’t want to pet that cat. But you must know that if you’re going to jump and play with this cat, then you are in bad luck. This breed is known for its gentleness and calm persona. It can be the cat for you to sit down with after a stressful day and relax with it on your lap.
Persian
This cat is viral because it’s lazy. It loves to lie around the house in different, sometimes unfindable places. You will see it lying on its back with the furry belly exposed and feel like giggling. It will always wives you comfort and joy. Persians don’t like to be disturbed much; then again, they love to be petted.
The cat-loving cannot resist petting this cat because of its soft fur. When you touch, you want to keep rubbing your hand and pat it all the time. Said to be the cousin of Ragdoll, so you know how lazy they can be. It loves sleeping around and doing nothing all day long.
Exotic
This cat breed might look sad all the time though this stands as an attraction for many owners as they feel like loving and cuddling it more and more. Very gentle and docile. Also known for its quick adaptation in almost any environment. Suitable to be an apartment pet cat.
Korat
People in Thailand consider this cat to be a sort of lucky charm in their house. With those emerald-colouredeyes, it indeed is one pretty kitty. This cat can be sluggish like it does nothing other than relaxing and licking itself—also, a cat with a gentle and calm nature. But at times when in the mood, it can be very playful with the owner and enjoy being around.
Scottish fold
Opinions may vary from person to person about it being lazy; as a matter of fact, it is not as lazy as other ones but still pretty much of a slacker in its world. One of those cats who love to stay with their owners and form a deep bond. A very lovable pet cat.
Cats being this lazy might make them cuter than they already are. More or less, everyone loves having them around, and we should keep adopting them and provide shelter for these creatures with love and affection.
